On the whole I think it is reading well, but now I wait for my daughter, Laura Heaney, to finish reading it through. She is my second set of eyes. She will see if it makes sense for the reader, as I can see everything in my head, but can the reader get the same picture in theirs?
Once she completes that read through, I will be submitting it to my publisher for their evaluation read. It always amazes me what they find when they read it through.
Meanwhile, Laura will be working on the cover artwork. All the photo shoots for the covers of my books were taken in Ashbridges Bay in Toronto. I had a number of volunteers who were brave enough to dress up and pose in the middle of a very busy park. The third cover will feature one of my co-workers from the library, Lacey, who dyed her hair an auburn colour just for the shoot - she said she was looking for an excuse to try being a red head. And Gavin, a friend of Laura's (he was the priest on the cover of the second book) stepped in for the male character. They are actually representing my characters, Kathryn and Raonull, the children of Diana and Manus, and David and Morrigan, respectively.
The name Kathryn means, Pure and Raonull, means, Might One. See if you can guess what their Anandrian powers might be.
