I sent off my manuscript for #DestinyFulfilled book 3 of the #AnandrianSeries and I was delighted with the comments my editor, Mary Metcalfe, passed on, after her evaluation read through. Here are a couple of remarks she included in the report.

"You have written another delightful book in your series. Your Characters are multidimensional with strong and unique voices. Each character is fully developed. The plot twists and turns are highly creative."

"It's so clear to me that you have a lot of fun with your novels on top of all the work of research, writing and editing. I may have written this before but you have a real flair for storytelling, particularly when it comes to character, plot development and writing dialogue."

"I see another book coming..."

"Congratulations, Kathy! Another hit out of the park."

Finally, I have submitted Destiny Fulfilled to my publisher, FriesenPress!

It has taken many read-throughs to get it the way I like it, but today at 1:15pm I hit that submit button so my editor can have her first look at it. It's amazing how your finger hovers over the mouse as you contemplate if it is truly the moment to send it off.

I am looking forward to the whole publishing experience again. It amazes me the work that goes into it when it leaves my hands.

Laura Heaney is working on the cover for my third book right now. She is hoping it will be done before the end of August, but we'll have to see how her schedule works out. What she has completed is looking great.

Next week I have my first scheduled author visit. It will be at a Senior's Residence that I have visited as a member of the Sackville Hill Ukulele Band. As it is my first visit, it will be interesting to see how I make out. I have been practicing my spiel while I walk Daisy, my dog. I think some of my neighbors are wondering about me as I go by mumbling under my breath -LOL!
