Foster pup, Holly (yellow lab) at a playdate! Hi Everyone! I have not abandoned my series. I know it has been a while since my last posting. Twisted Destiny will be making an appearance soon. Laura is well under way with the cover art, but the detailed drawing is taking time to complete around her work schedule. In the meantime, I have started the final book in the Anandrian Series, Dark Destiny, which will be book 5. Again, this is going slowly as I am fostering a Dog Guide puppy named Holly for about a year. Holly turned 10 months old yesterday and is doing really well. I am currently experiencing a dog going into heat for the very first time, so Holly is pretty much housebound - unless we can arrange a play date with other female dogs in the program. So far, it's been an amazing journey with this incredible yellow lab, however she will be my last puppy that I will foster. The time needed to nurture one of these fabulous dogs consumes your day. Once Holly is recalled to the Lion's Foundation, I will occasionally babysit i.e. if the trainers want time off for holidays, I will gladly host a dog for a few days, or if someone in the neighborhood needs a break for a day or two, I'll be the one to turn to. It is definitely a great community that works together so that a disabled person is provided with a dog without cost to them...
