Now it's time to update you on Book 4, Twisted Destiny of the Anandrian Series.
My daughter, Laura Heaney, the artist for the covers of my novels, has been taking me, and Daisy (my dog), out to conservation areas and waterfalls to get reference pictures for her new art installation that she is working on called #ConservingGreen. Since these trips involve a lot of walking through woods, we have been brainstorming like mad. The original story line I thought I was going to write has changed drastically - I'm quite excited about the ideas we came up with. Things will be going wrong both on Earth and in Anandria, and I think it will take two books to resolve what's going to happen - EXCITING! There will be a bit more darkness to the story than I've previously had, and I think several characters will have to deal with a darkness within themselves. There may even be - gasp - a major character whose story doesn't end happily-ever-after. We'll have to see where my characters take me as I write out their tale.
